At Axebuilder Guitars, we build high-performance instruments and precision player interfaces. To run our workshop, process your orders, and manage guitar repair intakes, we collect certain information when you visit our site or interact with the lab.
We believe in transparency on and off the bench. This Privacy Policy outlines exactly what data we harvest, how we use it, and how we keep it secure. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information with outside marketers. Period.


1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We only collect the information necessary to fulfill your orders, process bench tickets, and communicate workshop updates.

  • Identity & Contact Data: Your name, shipping address, billing address, email address, and phone number. This is collected when you buy a Multi-Pax, order a custom pickup, or submit a repair intake form.

  • Transaction & Billing Data: Details about payments made to and from you, as well as details of products or services you purchase from our shop. (Note: We do not store your credit card data on our servers. All financial transactions are handled securely by encrypted third-party payment processors).

  • Workshop & Gear Specifications: When you fill out a repair ticket or use our custom configurators, we collect data regarding your guitar's make, model, preferred string gauges, tunings, and desired modifications to ensure your tools are calibrated correctly.

  • Technical & Usage Data: Your IP address, browser type, time zone setting, location data, and how you navigate our website. This data is collected automatically via cookies through our website platform (Wix Studio) to help us optimize page loading and user experience.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA
We use your information strictly to keep the workshop operating smoothly and to deliver your gear. Specifically, we use it to:

  • Process, calibrate, pack, and ship your physical orders.

  • Manage, schedule, and communicate line-item quotes for shop repairs and modifications.

  • Send order tracking information and post-purchase deployment details.

  • Deliver "Terminal Signals" workshop newsletters, alert you to limited material drops, or open custom build slots (only if you explicitly opt-in to our subscription list).

  • Prevent fraudulent transactions and protect the security of our online store.
